UEJ20—Self-amalgamating insulation tape


UEJ20 is butyl rubber based self-amalgamating insulation tape.

The self-amalgamating property makes it voidfree, electrical stable build-up and resistant to moisture

penetration. It is suitable for insulating termination and joint of polymeric insulated cable up to 24kV.


Feature

● Based on butyl rubber.

● Normal operation temperature: 75°C.

● A special polyester liner which will not stick to the tape upon unwind.

● Excellent stretch and excellent moisture, corrosion and chemical resistance.

Standard size


● 19mm×9m, 10m

● 25mm×5m, 9m, 10m

● 38mm×9m, 10m

● Other sizes can be available upon to request

Application


● Insulating for splices on power cable from 600V up to 24kV.

● Jacketing on high voltage terminations and splices.

● Moisture sealing for all electrical connections.

● Cable jacket repairing and end sealing.
